From a French book, the artist Mariana Guerrero decided to name it like this
his first solo exhibition at the Palatina gallery.

“Coup de foudre” is not just that crush that Guerrero feels for his
work but what it wishes to generate in those who visit the exhibition
and whom she considers key protagonists of her works. For the
artist, his paintings are “narrative subjects that oscillate between the
abstract and figurative” and whose meaning invites one to be “closed” and
completed by the other from his own subjectivity.
