LOOP

Galería Palatina opens the year with LOOP: the reunion of Carlos Bissolino
and Tulio de Sagastizábal, two artists whose bond was born in Luis Felipe's studio
"Yuyo" Noé in the mid-70s. That was the starting point for this story.
of friendship and work between the expressionist and geometric artist. Although, at first glance, their works do not have common features, there is something that unites them and also noteworthy are: the use of color and his years dedicated to teaching. Many of today's young artists have passed through its classrooms and workshops, fact that has earned them the affection.

"LOOP is a journey through time, a twist in space, a loop, a reunion, a new collaboration..." explains de Sagastizábal, who has been a Palatina artist since 2015 and has received the National Award for Artistic Achievement from the Ministry of Culture of the Nation, the Manuel Belgrano Award from the City of Buenos Aires, and the Konex Painting Award granted by the same foundation. Bissolino is a full professor at the National University of the Arts, where a chair bears his name, and at the National University of Lanús. He has also received awards from the Federico Klemm Foundation and the National Museum of Fine Arts, among others.
